Arthur bad luck
Arthur Pech (born April 9, 1912 in Schmogrow ; † May 20, 1980 ) was a German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was regional chairman of the DBD Brandenburg and chairman of the DBD district executive committee in Frankfurt (Oder) .
Life
Pech, the son of a bricklayer , learned to be a milker after finishing elementary school . After 1945 he was a Neubauer . Pech joined the KPD in 1945 and became a member of the SED in 1946 . In 1948 he joined the newly founded Democratic Farmers' Party of Germany (DBD) and the Association of Mutual Farmers Aid (VdgB). In 1951/52 he was chairman of the DBD state board of Brandenburg and from 1953 to 1963 chairman of the DBD district board of Frankfurt (Oder). From 1951 to 1980 Pech was a member of the DBD party executive committee, from 1953 to 1963 a member of the presidium and from 1953 to 1955 a member of the secretariat of the DBD party executive committee. From 1977 he was deputy chairman of the party arbitration tribunal of the DBD.
From 1950 to 1952 Pech was district administrator for the Angermünde district . 1952/1953 he was deputy chairman of the council of the Frankfurt (Oder) district. From April 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament and chairman of the committee for trade and supply there, from 1952 to 1963 he was a member of the Frankfurt (Oder) district assembly and from 1954 to 1958 a member of the GDR regional chamber .
From 1945 to 1952 he was a member of the regional executive committee of the VdgB, later a member of the central executive committee of the VdgB, at times also a member of the Presidium of the People's Solidarity .
