Werner Reich

Werner Reich (born July 16, 1917 in Basel , † May 27, 1994 in Zurich ) was a Swiss politician (first FDP , then Republican Movement ).

biography

Reich studied law and economics in Zurich, where he joined Dr. iur. PhD . From 1943 to 1956 he ran a court and law practice in Zurich; In 1956 he took over Kommerz-Union AG Zurich and worked as a financial and economic advisor. In 1941 he founded the political adult education center of the FDP Zurich and in 1942 the Jungfreisinnigen Zurich.

Reich was a member of the FDP ; then he switched to the Republican Movement . In 1970 he moved to Zug ZG and was elected to the Cantonal Council as a republican. In 1971 he returned to Zurich and from 1971 to 1975 he was the National Councilor of the national republican parliamentary group.

Reich commented mainly on questions of youth and politics as well as on " foreign infiltration ". He was president of the Action Group Save the Engadin .
