Werner Tietje (born September 20, 1924 in Neuenkirchen ; † May 2, 1984 ibid) was a German writer, local researcher and painter. He published his writings mostly in Lower Saxony .

Life

Tietje was born in Neuenkirchen in 1924 as the son of farmer August Tietje and attended elementary school there . Between 1939 and 1942 he completed an apprenticeship as a banker at the Sparkasse in Otterndorf . There he then worked as a counter-accountant until 1946 . After the end of the Second World War initially unemployed, he made his way as a vegetable and florist and as a waiter. From 1953 he worked as a branch manager at the Sparkasse and from 1973 he was responsible for public relations and cultural work.

His first Low German publication dealt with his own childhood as a neighbor of Hinrich Wilhelm Kopf . Tietje also wrote about and contributions to the Yearbook of men from Morgenstern had, with time n Hear pray to his own show in the NDR - radio and published a Werner Tietje vertellt titled record .
