Werner Weist (soccer player, 1926)

Werner Weist (born November 9, 1926 ) is a former German soccer player . He is ranked 48th among the top scorers in the GDR league .

The striker is the best goalscorer in the history of SC activist Brieske-Senftenberg or his predecessor. Werner Weist scored 74 goals in 243 appearances in the top division of the GDR . In the 1956 season , when the elf surprisingly became runner-up, the right wing called the fly played all 26 games. In Weist's last season in the upper house in the game year 1958 , the SC activist took an excellent 3rd place.
