Werner Wiedenmeier

Werner Wiedenmeier (born June 11, 1949 in Romanshorn ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Werner Wiedenmeier studied German and history at the University of Zurich after completing the primary school teacher seminar in Schiers , worked as a teacher and for several years as a freelance writer in Diesbach GL . Today he lives in Zurich . He was best known for radio plays , poetry and short prose works . His prose volume Tobias Liebezeit Doppelspuren aroused with the satirical representation of customs in the canton of Glarus , a. a. the Näfelser Fahrt and the Glarner Landsgemeinde , some attention and criticism from the authorities. A collection of friends awarded him the Glarus Alternative Literature Year .
