NUTS 1 levels in the Netherlands: Landsdelen

The Landsdeel ( German  part of the country ; pl. Landsdelen ) is the top level (NUTS-1) in the territorial division of the Netherlands according to the European system of territorial units for statistics ( NUTS ).

The 12 provinces of the Netherlands are grouped into 4 areas at NUTS 1 level. These are: Noord-Nederland , Oost-Nederland , West-Nederland and Zuid-Nederland .
