The West Burnett River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of Queensland .
geography
The river rises about ten kilometers south of the small town of Kalpowar at the northern end of the Yarrol State Forest in the Burnett Range , part of the Great Dividing Range . From here it flows south through the state forest and on through completely uninhabited land. About four kilometers south of Mount Goondicum it flows into the Burnett River .
