The Western Freeway is an urban freeway in Brisbane in the southeast of the Australian state of Queensland . The 5 km freeway runs from Milton Road (S32) in Toowong to the west of Indooroopilly , where it becomes the Centenary Motorway (M5). Along the freeway there is an intersection in Indooroopilly with Moggill Road (S33). A bike path runs along the freeway to Toowong and downtown Brisbane.

Possibilities of building a bypass around Kenmore are currently being examined. It was supposed to connect the M5 to Chuwar along a reserved corridor . The corridor was reserved for a future freeway in the 1960s. The Western Freeway opened in 1979.
