Western Michigan American Football Stadium

The Western Michigan Broncos are the sports teams of Western Michigan University . The 15 different sports teams participate in NCAA Division I as a member of the Mid-American Conference in the West Division, with the exception of the ice hockey team, which competes in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference . In 2010/2011, Western Michigan University received the Cartwright Award, an award given, among other things, for outstanding athletic performance by its teams.
