Westerwald Museum Motorcycle & Technology

The Westerwald Museum Motorrad & Technik is a private museum in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Steinebach / Sieg in the Altenkirchen district (Westerwald) . It is located at Hauptstrasse 21 in Steinebach.

The museum was opened on June 6, 1993 by the owner couple, who restoration of older motorcycles and other mechanical objects as a hobby, and expanded in 1995 when they moved to a larger exhibition hall.

Around 50 historic motorcycles, mostly up to the year of construction 1970, are exhibited, with the focus on models from BMW , but also vehicles and the like a. the (former) manufacturers DKW , Horex , Kreidler , NSU and Zündapp can be visited.
