The west wing publishing house is a German publishing house for travel guide , travel literature and nonfiction based in Essen .

Westflügel Verlag was founded in 2005 by Ulrike Katrin Peters and Karsten-Thilo Raab as a GbR . In addition to travel guides that focus on smaller destinations such as Liechtenstein , the Isle of Man , Northern Ireland and various islands such as Borkum , Bornholm , Kos and Thassos , the publishing program also includes non-fiction, novels and humorous literature. In addition to classic books, Westflügel Verlag also offers e-books .

The independent publisher has also been running the Mortimer travel magazine online since 2011 .
