The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center , fully advertised The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center & Residences , is a skyscraper in Virginia Beach , Virginia . It was designed by Brennan Beer Gorman Monk Architects. It took two years to build, and it has been completed and accessible to private individuals since 2007. It has a total of 38 floors, 5 of which are used as parking spaces. Westin Hotels & Resorts operates a hotel on floors 3 to 16 with a total of 236 rooms. The remaining upper floors 17 to 36 inclusive offer space for a total of 119 condominiums of various sizes. The building is part of the Virginia Beach Town Center complex.

Since its completion, it has been the tallest building in the state of Virginia and, at 155 meters, is 18 meters higher than the James Monroe Building in Richmond .
