Western Qin

The Western Qin ( Chinese  西秦 , Pinyin Xiqin ) was a state of Xianbei -Volksgruppe in the period of Sixteen Kingdoms in China . The Western Qin is entirely different from the ancient Qin Dynasty, as well as the Earlier Qin and Later Qin , both also from the Period of the Sixteen Kingdoms.

All the rulers of the Western Qin called themselves " wang ", which can be translated either as "king" or as "prince".
