The WHITESTAG logo

The Whitestag VR Filmproduktion ( spelling WHITESTAG VR Filmproduktion ) was founded in 2017 by Walter Schönenbröcher in Cottbus .

In 2018 the nine-part virtual reality documentary series "Old and rare handicrafts" , which has meanwhile won several international awards , was created. This VR series is based on the historical photo documentation HANDwerk . Since 2019, Whitestag has been working on the new documentary series “Artists Up Close” about art award winners, which now includes seven episodes about Günther Rechn , Matthias Körner , Kani Alavi , Hans-Georg Wagner , Jörg Engelhardt, Rita Grafe and Chris Hinze.
