The Whiting Rocks are three cliff rocks off the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Wilhelm Archipelago they are 800 m south of The Barchans in the group of the Argentine Islands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1971 after Colin Stuart Whiting (* 1944), surveyor assistant for the hydrographic unit on board the HMS Endurance in this area in February 1969.
