In culinary arts , wrapping is a preparation process in which food is given a typical rolled shape. In this case, the raw material is usually with kitchen string , rolls parentheses , rolls needles , wooden stick or toothpicks bridiert , partly connected with fillings.

Typical examples are roulades , cabbage roulade , roll roast and roll mops .
