action

Lydia and Vincent Lufft adopted Marie, who is now 10 years old, so that Vincent has better chances of advancement at the very child-friendly company Henderson Games. But Marie forges a plan with her boyfriend Nick: They want to fake a kidnapping in order to get away from their adoptive parents. To track down the allegedly kidnapped Marie, Max Hoch, an expert at a security company, is consulted. Unlike his girlfriend, Max himself doesn't want to have children. He soon finds out that the kidnapping can only be fake. However, when Heinz Michelin, a family friend who wants to pay his debts with the reward to bring Marie back, urges himself to help with the kidnapping, he brings two real kidnappers with him as helpers. Max brings Marie to his unsuspecting friend Karo to protect her. In the meantime, however, Max himself is suspected by the police of having kidnapped Marie. He can only prove his innocence with a trap.
