Wiebke Younger

Wiebke Young (later Wiebke Stefansky-Young ) (born January 3, 1975 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Junge played with MTV Wolfenbüttel in the first women's basketball league , for the 1993/94 season she moved within the league to VfL Marburg . It was part of the Marburg squad until 1995. With both Wolfenbüttel and Marburg, Junge also made appearances in Europe.

She later played for SV Union Opladen, first in the regional league, then from 2001 in the 2nd Bundesliga. In mid-February 2002, Junge caught the eye when she hit eight three-point throws in a second division game for Opladen. She left the second division team after the 2001/02 season, in January 2003 she returned and strengthened Opladen's second division squad again until the end of the 2002/03 season. Younger withdrew to the state league for TuS Blau-Weiß Königsdorf, later she also belonged to the state league of TuS Brauweiler.
