geography

Wieselbruck is located about 1.7 km east of the center of Lupburg an der Schwarzen Laber .

history

In the first known Lupburger Urbar from the year 1300, which Konrad von Lupburg had laid out after he was elected Bishop of Regensburg in 1296, Wieselbruck (Wiselprugk) was also mentioned. Konrad owned a number of fiefs , including the tithe from the Wieselbruck (Wiselbruck) court of Konrad von Mulsheim . In the Salbuch from the year 1300, jurisdiction is assigned to the Lupburg lordship in addition to numerous other locations, including via Wieselbruck. The owners of the mill had to do security duty on the Lupburg.

In 1516, Sebastian zu Parsberg acquired the mill in Wieselbruck. In the following decades the mill changed hands several times. In the years 1711 to 1719 there were disputes between the owner of the mill in Wieselbruck and the owner of the nearby mill in Eggenthal over hydraulic engineering at the Eggenthaler mill. Because of the water that had built up there, the flow speed for the mill in Wieselbruck was too low. The owners of the Wieselbrucker Mühle demanded that this problem be remedied.

The mill, which burned down in 1805, included real mill justice and real cutting saw justice. The saw is still in use today.
