Viktor Michailowitsch Schustikow ( Russian Виктор Михайлович Шустиков; born January 28, 1939 in Moscow ) is a former Russian football player who played in defense .

career

During his active career from 1958 to 1972, Shustikov was exclusively under contract with his hometown club Torpedo Moscow and was one of the few players who won both Soviet championship titles of the 1960s with Torpedo , which were achieved in 1960 and 1965. He was also runner-up with Torpedo in 1961 and 1964. In addition, Shustikov won the Soviet Union's football cup three times with Torpedo (1960, 1968 and 1972) and reached the finals in another three cases (1958, 1961 and 1966).

In 1963 and 1964, Shustikov made a total of eight international appearances for the national soccer team of the USSR and, along with his two teammates from Torpedo, Valentin Ivanov and Valery Voronin , was part of the Soviet national team , which came second in the 1964 European Soccer Championship in Spain .
