Viktor Paskov
Viktor Paskow (also written Wiktor Paskow ; Bulgarian Виктор Пасков ; born September 10, 1949 in Sofia , † April 16, 2009 (according to other information April 17) in Bern , Switzerland ) was a Bulgarian author and musician.
He studied at the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . After graduating in 1976, he stayed in the GDR for another four years , where he performed as a jazz musician and opera singer. In 1980 he returned to Bulgaria, where he worked, among other things, as a screenwriter. From 2002 to 2004 he was head of the Bulgarian Cultural Center in Berlin .
In 2005 he was awarded the Helikon literary prize for his work Autopsija na edna ljubov (Eng. Autopsy of a Love) .
