Viktor Viktorovich Petrov ( Ukrainian Віктор Вікторович Петров ; born May 16, 1996 in Mykulynzi ) is a Ukrainian light welterweight boxer .
successes
Viktor Petrov won the 2009 European Schoolchildren Championship in Anapa , the 2011 European Junior Championship in Keszthely and the 2012 European Junior Championship in Sofia . He is also a silver medalist at the 2013 European Youth Championship in Rotterdam and the 2014 World Youth Championship in Sofia, as well as a bronze medalist at the 2010 European Schoolchildren Championship in Yambol and the 2011 World Junior Championship in Astana .
At the 2015 European Games in Baku , he defeated Airin Ismetow from Bulgaria, Howhannes Batschkow from Armenia and Clarence Goyeram from Sweden, before he was eliminated in the semifinals against Collazo Sotomayor from Azerbaijan and thus received a bronze medal.
At the 2015 World Championships, he lost to Danielito Zorrilla in the preliminary round . It was similar for him in the European Olympic qualification in 2016 in Turkey, when he was eliminated in the first fight against Batuhan Gözgeç .
