Danielito Zorrilla (born October 25, 1993 in Río Piedras ) is a boxer from Puerto Rico .

Amateur career

Zorrilla is 1.76 m tall and started boxing in 2007. He won a bronze medal at the Pan American Championships in Chile in September 2013 and started at the World Championships in Almaty in October of the same year . There he defeated Georgi Gogatišvili from Georgia (3: 0) before he was eliminated in the next fight against Berik Äbdirachmanow from Kazakhstan (1: 2).

In November 2014, he won the silver medal at the Central America and Caribbean Games in Mexico , when he was eliminated in the final against Yasniel Toledo . He was also able to win the silver medal at the Pan American Championships in Venezuela in 2015 after failing again against Yasniel Toledo in the final.

In October 2015 he took part in the World Championships in Doha . After victories against Viktor Petrow from Ukraine (2: 1) and Evaldas Petrauskas from Lithuania (2: 1), he lost in the quarter-finals to Wuttichai Masuk from Thailand (0: 3).

Professional career

He made his professional debut on November 12, 2016.
