Viktor Tarasowytsch Plakida (born August 2, 1956 in Krasnyj Lutsch , Luhansk Oblast ) is a Ukrainian politician of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea .

Plakida finished 1979 his studies at the Polytechnic Institute in Leningrad (now St Petersburg). From 1980 to 2003 he worked in various positions at the authorities responsible for the electricity grid in the city of Feodosia and later for the entire Crimean peninsula. He then worked in the politics of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and in May 2006 was elected Chairman of the Council of Ministers (Head of Government) of Crimea. In March 2010 he resigned from this office.
