Wil Vladimirovich Lipatov

Wil Wladimirowitsch Lipatow ( Russian Виль Владимирович Липатов ; born April 10, 1927 in Chita , † May 1, 1979 in Moscow ) was a Russian writer.

Life

Lipatow was the son of a journalist and a teacher and grew up in a village environment. From 1952 he studied at the State Pedagogical Institute in Tomsk . After completing his studies, he worked for eight years as a journalist in Tomsk and Bryansk , among others, and as a special correspondent for Izvestia in Moscow .

In 1956 he began his writing career with the publication of his first short stories. His first published book was the Powest Шестеро in 1958 . Some of his books have been made into films. His stories about the village detective Aniskin served from 1968 as the basis for a trilogy of movies. For the scenario of the film И это всё о нём he was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize in 1977. He also received the Order of the Red Banner of Labor .
