Wildensee is a district of the Mittenwald market in the Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen .
The wasteland is located directly southwest of the Wildensee , about 2.5 km in the northwest of Mittenwald. The only property is the Berggasthof Wildensee (Wildenseehütte), an inn with a guesthouse for overnight guests.
In 1933 the place was still a hut called Goassoim (Ziegenalm). In 1951 Hanni and Anda Tiefenbrunner started up the catering business. In 1960, Anda Tiefenbrunner built the Marienkapelle as a thank you for having returned home healthy from the Second World War .
