The Schorfheide Game Park is a game park near Groß Schönebeck in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve .

In the wildlife park, founded in 1996, native animal species such as otters , red deer , fallow deer , wild boar and European mouflons can be seen on a total area of 105 hectares on the edge of the Schorfheide . There are also wolves , bison , elk , lynx and Przewalski's horses here .

In addition to wild animal species, rare breeds of domestic animals that are threatened with extinction are also kept and bred in the wildlife park. These include, for example, the rough-wooly Pomeranian sheep and the Mangalitza woolly pig .

An approximately 7-kilometer-long system of hiking trails leads through the wildlife park, from which visitors can observe the animals that live in large outdoor enclosures, almost as if they were in the wild.

There is a petting zoo and a forest playground for children near the visitor house with restaurant.
