Weißewarte wildlife park
The Weißewarte wildlife park is a wildlife park in the village of Weißewarte in the Altmark in Saxony-Anhalt .
The wildlife park is open to visitors all year round. It has an area of 15 hectares. Around 400 animals from around 50 species are kept on the extensive grounds. These are predominantly native game species such as fallow deer , wild boar , elk, as well as Balkan lynx and Canada geese .
The park is located in a wooded area. It is particularly characterized by its old trees. Some of the oak trees in the wildlife park are over 300 years old. Dining facilities and a large children's playground are available for visitors to the park.

In 2002, the park was the so-called flood of the century up to 1.40 m flooded along the Elbe.
