Wilfried Eberharter (born June 3, 1980 ) is a former Austrian ski jumper .

Career

Eberharter started between 1999 and 2001 in the Ski Jumping World Cup and the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . He competed in his first World Cup competition on January 3, 1999 in Innsbruck . Three weeks later on January 24, 1999 in Sapporo, Japan , he won his first World Cup points with 17th place. By the end of the season he was able to jump into the points several times and finished the 1998/99 season in 60th place in the overall World Cup ranking. In the ski flying classification he finished 24th after jumping into the points in two of three ski flying competitions in Planica . In the following two years, Eberharter only started in three World Cup competitions, but remained unsuccessful and then ended his active ski jumping career after the 2000/01 Continental Cup season, which was also unsuccessful .
