Wilfried Heidt (born April 16, 1941 in Karlsruhe ; † February 2, 2012 in Achberg ) was a German social researcher and anthroposophist . His path in life was shaped by his commitment to social threefolding in the sense of Rudolf Steiner .

life and work

His work for the goal of redesigning social life included:

  • Participation in political developments in Germany in the wake of the 1968 movements, including the aftermath of the Prague Spring .
  • his participation in the founding of the West German party Die Grünen .
  • his idea of “three-tier national legislation” ( direct democracy ) at federal level (according to Art. 20 II GG) and ultimately throughout the European Union ( EU ), which he pursued until shortly before his death .

Wilfriedt Heidt's work extended far beyond the inner circle of his Achberg friends. In this way he repeatedly stimulated social debates both within the AAG ( General Anthroposophical Society ) and within German politics as a whole.
