Wilfried Heimes

Wilfried Heimes (born September 28, 1927 in Haan ; † August 28, 2010 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school with the completion of high school , he studied at the University of Cologne and received his doctorate in 1961, Dr. phil. From 1954 to 1956 he was district manager of the CDU Rhein-Wupper. Heimes then worked as a consultant for youth work in the Archdiocese of Cologne until 1964 and then as a consultant for adult education in the Diocese of Essen.

He had been a member of the CDU since 1947. He was active in numerous party committees, so he was u. a. Member of the regional executive committee of the CDU Rhineland.

MP

From July 26, 1970 to May 30, 1990 Heimes was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia and there a. a. Member of the Main Committee and the School and Continuing Education Committee. He was elected four times from his party's national list.

He was a member of the city council of Essen from 1975 to 1979.
