Wilfried Wengler

Wilfried Wengler (born April 11, 1944 in Breslau ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Hamburg in 1963 , Wengler studied chemistry and business administration at the University of Hamburg . From 1968 he worked in various positions in the economy and in 1990 became self-employed as a management consultant .

Wilfried Wengler is widowed and has two children.

Political party

Wengler joined the CDU in 1997.

He joined in 1998 the municipal council of Henstedt-Ulzburg on.

Wengler was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 2005 to 2012 and was the specialist spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for the areas of housing construction and culture.

Wilfried Wengler moved into the state parliament as a directly elected member of the Segeberg- West constituency . In the state elections in 2005 he received 46.0 percent of the first votes . In the early state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2009 , he was re-elected with 37.7 percent of the first votes. He was not re-elected for the early state elections in 2012.
