The building at Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße 217 is a listed building in Griesheim .
History and description
The voluminous two-story massive building was built around 1900 . Originally it served as an officers' mess . The construction of the casino is related to the former artillery firing range on the "Griesheimer Sand". Particularly striking is the rich decoration of the window and door sandstone walls in Renaissance shapes .
Today the building houses a restaurant ("Waldschlösschen") and a doctor's practice.
