Wilhelm Albert (pedagogue)

Wilhelm August Albert (born January 29, 1890 in Reiterswiesen , † 1981 in Traunstein ) was a German educational writer.

Life

He was the son of the innkeeper Paul Albert from Reiterswiesen near Bad Kissingen . After attending school, he went to the teachers' college. He worked as a main teacher and later as rector and was head of the Reich working group for general teaching in Nuremberg. Since the beginning of the 1920s, Wilhelm Albert presented several educational writings that deal primarily with practical school reform approaches and that were revised and reissued after 1945.

His application for NSDAP membership was rejected because he had previously belonged to a lodge.
