Wilhelm Anthes

Wilhelm Anthes (in official documents Wilhelm IV. Anthes ) (born January 28, 1877 in Sprendlingen , Hesse ; † October 29, 1934 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Wilhelm Anthes was the son of the farmer Heinrich Anthes and his wife Susanne, nee Stroh. Wilhelm Anthes was Protestant and married to his wife Susanne Anthes, née Daniel. He trained as a locksmith and worked as a master locksmith in Sprendlingen.

politics

Wilhelm Anthes was a member of the SPD and from 1914 to 1933 a member of the Sprendlingen municipal council for his party. In addition, he was a member of the state parliament for six terms from 1921 to 1933. With the seizure of power of the Nazis, the Parliament mandate, he was denied.
