Wilhelm Behmann
Wilhelm H. Behmann (born October 4, 1893 ; † after 1943) was a German dance teacher and concert director.
life and work
He was the son of the accountant and later chief police inspector Robert Behmann and his wife Marie nee Borrmann. The paternal ancestors were teachers. After attending grammar school in Hanover up to Obersekunda, Wilhelm Behmann took up a commercial position. In 1919 he founded his own concert management. He arranged artistic theater guest performances and performances by entertainers in the Prussian province of Hanover . He had his office in the Continental house in Hanover. In addition, he took over the dance school of his future wife Helene Hagemann from Hanover.
In 1941 and 1943, Wilhelm Behmann is still listed in the address book as the owner of the dance school in Hanover, Jakobistraße 16 I.

Since January 1920 Wilhelm Behmann was married to Helene Hagemann from Hanover. This was also a dance teacher. The marriage later ended in divorce.
