Wilhelm Berger (social scientist)
Wilhelm Berger (born February 12, 1957 ) is an Austrian social scientist and philosopher .
Life
After completing his studies, Wilhelm Berger worked as a freelance social scientist and then worked as a contract assistant at the Institute for Philosophy at the University of Klagenfurt . Today he is an associate professor at their institute for technology and science research. Berger was Vice Dean of the Faculty for Interdisciplinary Research and Training and Deputy Head of the Center for Women and Gender Studies . He also taught at the Vienna University of Economics and Business , the University of Graz and the Technical University of Graz . Together with Werner Lenz , he has been a leading member of the former doctoral college "Lifelong Learning" since 2005, which was offered in cooperation between the Universities of Graz, Klagenfurt and the Danube University Krems .
