Wilhelm Braun (politician, 1887)

Wilhelm Braun (born December 5, 1887 in Ravensburg , † October 3, 1971 in Weingarten ) was a German Christian Democratic politician.

Career

Braun was mayor of Weingarten from 1920 until the forced incorporation into Ravensburg in 1937. After the end of World War II and regaining independence, he was reinstated as mayor in 1945 and remained in office until 1954.

In addition, as a member of the CDU from November 1946 to May 1947, he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Württemberg-Hohenzollern .
