Wilhelm Brausch

Wilhelm Brausch (born September 21, 1913 , † December 16, 1992 in Xanten ) was a German retailer - he was considered a city ​​original in Xanten .

Brausch ran a kiosk opposite the Kriemhildmühle , which introduced him to children and adults with the sale of sweets, newspapers, cigarettes and other things. He held quite a few conversations, and he was also happy to provide information to the numerous tourists in the city. He was known to the population as "Grandpa at the mill" or "Grandpa from the mill".

Klaus Brausch , a post office clerk in Wuppertal, was his son.
