Wilhelm Busch (chemist)

Wilhelm Busch (born January 4, 1892 in Braunschweig , † February 28, 1967 in Essen ) was a German chemist and mine director.

Life

Busch studied chemistry and then worked at Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG . In 1939 he was responsible for the entire gas and coking industry and for coal chemistry . In 1941 he became a member of the board .

Busch belonged to the Association of German Ironworkers (VDEh) . 1956–1960 he was chairman of the German coking committee jointly supported by the VDEh and the coal mining association , of which he became an honorary member.
