Wilhelm Eisenblätter

Wilhelm Eisenblätter (* 1866 in Duisburg , † 1934 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Was a German stage and landscape painter .

As a student of J. Lechner devoted Eisenblätter away in 1882 at the Royal Court Theater Berlin the scenography . In 1898 he followed the call to the Königsberg City Theater , where he brought the stage design to a level previously unknown in Königsberg. In 1912 he gave up the position to devote himself entirely to landscape painting . From 1899 he sent several art exhibitions . His well-known pictures include “Hafenbild”, “Fischbrücke in Königsberg”, wall paintings in the cellar of the Königsberg Stock Exchange and “Four Seasons” in the Berliner Hof am Steindamm (Königsberg) .

His son Gerhard Eisenblätter (born May 28, 1907 in Königsberg; † August 3, 1975 in Stockelsdorf ) was married to the painter Erika Eisenblätter-Laskowski .
