Wilhelm Friessem

Wilhelm Friessem (* 1799 in Polch ; † June 2, 1882 in Wiesbaden ) was a German public prosecutor and parliamentarian.

Life

After attending grammar school in Koblenz , Wilhelm Friessem studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . On May 15, 1820 he was one of the founders of the Corps Rhenania Bonn . After completing his studies he became state procurator in Saarbrücken , Aachen and Malmedy . In 1881 he retired and lived in Wiesbaden until his death.

In 1849 Friessem sat for the constituency of Aachen in the Prussian House of Representatives , where he belonged to the Left Party .
