Wilhelm Götze (lawyer)
August Wilhelm Götze (born January 11, 1792 - † June 14, 1876 ) was a German lawyer.
Life
Götze studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He began his career in 1819 as a court assistant at the district court and from 1821 at the Magdeburg Higher Regional Court. In 1835 he went to the Prussian Ministry of Justice as a Privy Councilor of Justice. In 1838 he was appointed Vice President of the Greifswald Higher Appeal Court. From 1844 he was a member of the State Council , from 1846 of the Secret Higher Tribunal . In 1854 King Friedrich Wilhelm IV. Appointed Götze as crown syndic in the Prussian mansion , to which he belonged until his death.
