Wilhelm Haller (painter)

Wilhelm Haller (born May 28, 1873 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † January 11, 1950 there ) was a German painter.

Life

The son of the decorative painter Konrad Haller attended elementary school and the Berthold-Gymnasium in Freiburg , where he graduated from high school in 1892. After graduating from high school, he initially studied political science at the University of Freiburg, but from 1897 devoted himself entirely to painting, which he had already occupied himself with in childhood and youth. In 1932 he received the Baden State Prize , and in 1933 the Kunstverein Freiburg organized an exhibition on his 60th birthday.
