Wilhelm Heinrichsdorff

Wilhelm Heinrichsdorff (born May 6, 1864 in Stolp , Pomerania Province , † November 29, 1936 in Düsseldorf ) was a German painter and draftsman at the Düsseldorf School , high school and university teacher and author of a multi-volume font for drawing lessons in Prussian elementary schools .

Life

Heinrichsdorff studied painting as a private student of Eduard von Gebhardt in Düsseldorf . There he was also a member of the artists' association Malkasten . In the 1890s he was a drawing teacher at the Stadtgymnasium Dortmund . Later he was a senior drawing teacher at the state drawing teacher seminar at the Düsseldorf School of Applied Arts , which was transferred to the Düsseldorf Art Academy after the First World War .
