Individual evidence

  1. The statement in Schrader (lit.) that Niemyer published his observations on Asian cholera in 1831 as an extract from his travel report submitted to the state government, is based on a confusion with Niemeyer's brother, the district physician Carl Eduard Niemeyer (born April 13, 1792 in Halle; † December 13, 1837 in Magdeburg), see his biography .
