Wilhelm Jantzen

Wilhelm Jantzen (born March 29, 1800 in Dorum , † March 11, 1880 in Hamburg ) was a Hamburg merchant and member of parliament.

Life

Jantzen was a merchant and dealt with the import of English manufactured goods. Jantzen was a member of the College of Poor's from 1845 to 1864, he was a member of the Customs and Excise Deputation from 1849 to 1851, of the Debt Administration Deputation from 1861 to 1863, and was a judge from 1862 to 1867.

From 1859 to 1864 Jantzen belonged to the Hamburg citizenship as a delegate sent by the poor council.
