Wilhelm Kircher

Wilhelm Heinrich Philipp Christian Kircher (born September 16, 1831 in Römhild ; † May 27, 1901 in Meiningen ) was a lawyer, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kircher attended the Bernhardinum high school in Meiningen from 1846 to 1850 and studied law from 1850 to 1853 at the universities of Jena and Heidelberg . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1850 . Since 1854 in the civil service (preparatory service) as an auditor and trainee lawyer , he became mayor in Römhild in 1857, in 1858 after passing the third exams in government tax and lawyer in Meiningen.

In 1864 he was also a lecturer in the ducal state ministry, more precisely legal advisor to the finance department. From 1870 to 1871 he was also a consultant for the domain dispute, which has meanwhile been settled by settlement, and also a consultant for the real estate and building tax assessment of the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen .

In 1874 he was a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Meiningen and from 1874 to 1877 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Meiningen 1 and the National Liberal Party .
