Wilhelm Lindenberg
Wilhelm Lindenberg (* 1853 ; † December 10, 1923 in Celle ) was a German doctor .
Live and act
Wilhelm Lindenberg became a journeyman tanner after graduating from elementary school . Only an inheritance made it possible for him to catch up on his Abitur in Helmstedt and to study medicine at the Georg August University in Göttingen . There he entered the winter semester 1879 connection and later fraternity Holzminda one. After successfully completing his studies, he became chief physician at the General Hospital in Celle on April 1, 1889 . He was largely responsible for its expansion and development and managed it until 1923. During the First World War , he was chief physician in charge of a reserve hospital .
In 1894 Lindenberg was accepted into the Celle Masonic Lodge Zum Hellleuchtenden Stern .

- Lindenbergstrasse in Celle was named after him.
