Wilhelm "Willy" Möhwald (born September 1, 1908 in Herlíkovice , † May 15, 1975 in Gauting ) was a Czechoslovakian ski jumper .

Career

Möhwald was part of the Czechoslovak squad at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . After jumps of 46 and 59 meters, he reached 15th place, tied with Canadian Jerry Dupuis .

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberhof in 1931 he jumped from the normal hill to 44 and 43 meters and thus ended up in 18th place. Two years later at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Innsbruck in 1933 he jumped to 18th place.

Möhwald later started working for WSV Spindelmühle in today's Špindlerův Mlýn .
